Dr. Abby Stephan and SHAARP Lab students present at the Southern Gerontological Society Conference

On April 3rd, Dr. Abby Stephan and four SHAARP Lab students [(starting from the right) Mary Walton, Vanessa Martinez, Daniel Moss, and Bennett Davis], had the honor of presenting at the SGS conference. The presentation outlined the importance of hands on research experience. The presentation also showcased the data collected from the study completed by the SHAARP Lab students and their experiences. Main takeaways from the study were that lab environment, positive interactions with study participants, and cohesive training for studies are all contributors to a positive lab/study experience. Congratulations to the SHAARP Lab students involved for successfully presenting at the conference!
