Hey everyone! My name is Anna Grant, and I’m a junior Nursing major from Dillon, South Carolina. This is my first semester in the SHAARP Lab, and I’m really excited to get involved in research focused on the well-being of older adults. Between that experience and taking a gerontology class last semester, I’ve developed a strong interest in learning more about the aging process. Because of this, I felt that the SHAARP Lab would be a great fit for me and a great opportunity to better understand the complexity of aging and the lives of older adults. I’m looking forward to gaining research experience that will support my future nursing career and help me provide more thoughtful, compassionate care to older adults.
