TRB Circular released (July 2016)

The Transportation Research Board has released Circular Number E-C211 titled Taxonomy and Terms for Stakeholders in Senior Mobility. The Circular is the product of the TRB Committee on the Safe Mobility for Older Persons' (ANB60) two midyear meetings (2013 and 2014). The goal of the Circular is to facilitate communication and promote best practice among a host of disciplines and professional organizations committed to safe, independent, and dignified options for seniors to remain mobile within their communities. We encourage transportation professionals and consumers to use the Circular and provide suggestions for updates as needed due to new policies, research findings, and technologies.
