SHAARP lab community outreach (May 2021)

SHAARP Lab members at Clemson University participated in the Oconee Country Senior Living Expo, held May 27, 2021 at Norton Thompson Park in downtown Seneca, SC. The event provided an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to meet hundreds of local older adults and share information about SHAARP Lab research and evidence-based strategies for staying healthy and active.

Attendees also cast their votes to help select the new logo for the Clemson University Institute for Engaged Aging (IEA). The logo will be unveiled when the IEA and associated labs—including the SHAARP Lab-- move into newly remodeled space at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Fall 2021.
