Congratulations Briana! (December 2017)

Congratulations to Briana, one of the recipients of the James McKenney Student Travel Award. This is a $1000 award for students to attend the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education conference in Atlanta, GA. Briana will attend the conference in March. Congratulations, Briana!

Also, congratulations to Briana, who has a new accepted manuscript! This paper implemented a new technique to examine measurement invariance in the WAIS-R, an intelligence test. She found that even when relaxing certain (statistical) assumptions, there is little evidence of age-related bias in this particular test. The paper, Revising measurement invariance in intelligence testing in aging research: Evidence for almost complete metric invariance across age groups, will be published in the Journal for Person-Oriented Research.
